Abstract
Hair Two Style Salon operates a business on haircut, hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair steaming with distribution of hair treatment products and hair styling products. Their crews are consisted of many hairdressers, salon staffs, and hair technicians. Sometimes, their customers make reservations by phone and they record such reservations on paper. Consequently, there are some errors and repetition of records or cancellation made by customers. As a result, some customers are unsatisfied leading to inconvenience of service providing and loss of some income. Based on those problems, the research developed an Online Salon Management System: Case Study of Hair Two Style Salon in order to facilitate data management and reduce complex operation procedures with Queuing Management System and correct reporting. This system is developed based on PHP language on MySQL Database System. In addition, the Theory of First in First out (FIFO) is also applied to manage queues of customers and facilitate them in making reservation. It is also helpful for managing employees. Users are consisted of customers, owner, and employees. After operating, it can be concluded that the system improved efficiency on queuing management correctly enabling all functions to be operated perfectly with more convenience and less mistakes as demanded by users.
