Abstract

                This Internship is conducted at Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO), which is a service oriented, scientific and nongovernmental organization established on 4th November 1990. The main objective of this study is for me to be familiar with the financial management system of NGO as well as to understand the importance of financial management in an organization. Literatures have shown that financial management is a crucial part of organization management. A sound financial management is a key to success of an organization. Financial management is basically an application of general management principles to financial resources of the organization. It’s a given fact that NGOs operates in rapid changing and challenging world. In other to survive in this ever-changing and challenging environment organization needs to understand the importance of financial management. In Non-governmental Organizations the resources are often limited and restricted to prescribes purpose. Thus it is essential for a manager to understand the importance of financial management in an organization.
