บทคัดย่อ

โครงงานเรื่อง การทำดอกไม้อบแห้งประดับโดยซิลิกาเจล ( A Dried Everlasting Flower by Silica Gel) จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อการนำดอกไม้สดมาทำผลิตภัณฑ์ในรูปแบบการรักษาฟอร์มให้มีสภาพอายุการใช้งานได้นานมากขึ้น และยังเป็นการช่วยประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายให้กับทางสถานประกอบการในแผนกแม่บ้าน (ห้องดอกไม้)  จากการที่คณะผู้จัดทำได้มาปฏิบัติสหกิจศึกษา ได้สังเกตุเห็นปัญหาของดอกไม้ที่เหลือใช้จากงานจำนวนมาก อีกทั้งประโยชน์ของการใช้งานหมดไปเพียงเพราะไม่มีความสวยงาม ทำให้ขยะจากดอกไม้เหล่านั้นมีจำนวนมากในแต่ละวัน ประโยชน์จากการใช้ดอกไม้นั้นจึงใช้ได้ไม่นาน ดังนั้น เพื่อเป็นการรักษาและยืดอายุการใช้งานของดอกไม้ให้คงความสวยงามตามธรรมชาติได้นานมากขึ้น คณะผู้จัดทำจึงใช้เทคนิคอบแห้งโดยการนำดกไม้สดมาอบโดยใช้สารดูดความชื้น คือ ซิลิกาทราย และ ซิลิกาเจล และบรรจุลงโหลแก้วโดยมีฝาปิดเพื่อเป็นการรักษาผลิตภัณฑ์ให้ได้นานมากมากที่สุด

หลังจากที่ได้ทดลองทำผลิตภัณฑ์การทำดอกไม้อบแห้งประดับโดยซิลิกาเจล (A Dried Everlasting Flower by Silica Gel) แล้ว คณะผู้จัดทำได้ทำการสำรวจความคิดเห็น ด้วยการแจกแบบสอบถามให้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ พนักงานแผนกจัดเลี้ยง และ พนักงานแผนกแม่บ้าน (ห้องดอกไม้)  จำนวน 30 ชุด ผลการศึกษาพบว่า จากการทำแบบสอบถามโดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด คือ เช่น ช่วยประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายให้โรงแรมได้จริง (ค่าเฉลี่ย = 4.53 และค่า S.D. = 0.57)

Abstract

The project, ‘A Dried Everlasting Flower by Silica Gel,’ was conducted for the purpose of using fresh flowers to produce in the form of preservation that has a longer usage lifetime. The project also helped the enterprise to save costs in the housekeeping department (Flower Room). During work period of the cooperative education, the authors noticed problems that the flowers from various events we unused and left over. Also, the benefits of fresh flowers are limited because there is no beauty left, causing a lot of trash from those flowers each day. Thus, in order to preserve and extend the lifespan of the flowers while maintaining its natural beauty for a longer time, the production team used a drying technique with the fresh flowers through use of desiccants, silica sand, and silica gel. Then, the flowers were packed into a glass jar with a lid to preserve the product as long as possible.

After making the ‘Everlasting Flower by Silica Gel’ product, the production team conducted a survey by collecting questionnaires from the sample group, which was the staff of the catering department and the housekeeping department (Flower Room) for a total of 30 surveys. From the questionnaire, the results showed that the sample group was at the highest level, which was the project being able to actually save up the hotel expenses average ( 𝑥̅ = 4.53, S.D. = 0.57)
