Abstract

The advancement of the automobile industry has revolutionized people’s way of life and improved their standard of living. However, most modern automobiles still use petroleum as a power source. The demand for alternative energy vehicles has risen due to a shortage of energy resources and environmental pollution. With the continuous development of automobiles and battery technology, the electric vehicle industry is developing rapidly. The electric vehicle industry has become an essential industry in the world. The development of electric vehicles globally is a recognized necessity and gained the strong support of governments, resulting in a booming industry for automobile and battery manufacturers as a group.

Electric vehicles are slowly taking over the entire automotive market and will inevitably become mainstream shortly. Due to the energy saving features, people are now more inclined to use electric cars, creating a demand for this vast market. Since 2018, almost all traditional car companies have invested in producing, researching, and developing new energy vehicles, including the representative Mercedes Benz, Audi, and BMW. These factors allowed the market to grow and produce intense competition among old and new electric vehicle brands.
