Abstract
The paper industry is very competitive. As a key manufacture in Thailand, SCG Packaging PCL have to continuously improve their production processes. In this project, the paper quality sorting process was chosen. First, a work study was carried out to study the time of each step and to identify the bottle-neck step of the process. From the study, the bottle-neck process came from the workers was not balanced with the machines, and the work instructions were too complicated because it has to use human visual inspections only, which is time consuming. Therefore, to improve this process, the web inspection tool is introduced to reduce the complexity of the visual inspection step. After the work instructions were changed, another improvement was proposed to do the planning of their daily operations by using scheduling techniques. From this scheduling optimization, we can allocate additional operation period of 1 hour per day, and we can eliminate the bottle-neck step. This study can improve the process productivity by 35% and reduce loss cost up to 24,637.5 Baht per year.

Abstract
The author has studied warehouse operation of P K Boiler Co., Ltd. and found that low efficiency in the warehouse operation (i.e. item disbursement process) causes delay in subsequent processes. Therefore, the goal of this project was set to improve the warehouse disbursement process time. The improvements were carried out using techniques including a process flow chart to eliminate redundant and inefficient steps, improve storage location, organize items into categories, introduce visual control by coloring the storage shelves, and to create item stock cards with arrows to indicate the item’s location. As a result, the disbursement process time was reduced from 700 minutes to 220 minutes, which is a 68.57% improvement. In addition, as an indirect benefit, the project also reduces disbursement mistakes and item damage as well.

Abstract
The alpha power law based model of random variations in drain current of an unconventional MOSFET, namely Floating-Gate MOSFET (FGMOSFET), has been proposed where the nano-meter level technology has been focused. The process induced device level random variations and their statistical correlations have been taken into account. The model has been found to be very accurate since it can accurately fit the 65 nm SPICE BSIM4 based reference obtained by using Monte-Carlo SPICE. So, it has been found to be efficient for the variability aware analysis and design of FGMOSFET based circuit at nanometer regime.

Abstract
In this research, many novel expressions for time domain responses of fractance device to various cited inputs have been proposed. Unlike the previous ones, our expressions have been derived based on the Caputo fractional derivative by also concerning the dimensional consistency with the integer order device based responses and the difference between two types of fractance devices i.e. fractional order inductor and fractional order capacitor. These previous expressions have been derived based on the Riemann-Liouvielle fractional derivative which has certain features that leads to contradictions and additional modeling difficulties unlike the Caputo fractional derivative. Our new expressions are applicable to both fractional order inductor and capacitor with arbitrary order. They are also applicable to any subject which its electrical characteristic can be modeled based on the fractance device. With our expressions and numerical simulations, the time domain behavioral analysis of both fractance device and such subject can be directly performed without requiring any time to frequency domain conversion and its inverse as already presented in this work. Therefore our work has been found to be beneficial to various fractance device related disciplines e.g. biomedical engineering, control system, electronic circuit and electrical engineering etc.

Abstract
The analytical probabilistic modeling of random variation in the drain current of a Floating-Gate MOSFET (FGMOSFET) induced by manufacturing process variations has been performed. Both triode and saturation region operated FGMOSFETs have been considered. The results have been found to be very efficient since they can accurately fit the probabilistic distributions of normalized random drain current variations of the candidate triode and saturation FGMOSFETs obtained using the 0.25μm level BSIM3v3 based Monte-Carlo SPICE simulations, where the variation of the saturation FGMOSFET has been found to be more severe. These results also satisfy the goodness of fit test at a very high level of confidence and more accurately than the results of the previous probabilistic modelling attempts. Using our results, many statistical parameters, probabilities and the objective functions, which are useful in statistical/variability aware analysis and design involving FGMOSFETs can be formulated. The impact of drain current variation upon the design trade-offs can be studied. It has been found that the occurrence of the drain current variation is absolutely certain. Moreover, the analytical probabilistic modelling and computationally efficient statistical/ variability aware simulation of FGMOSFET based circuits can also be performed.

Abstract
Siam University focuses on energy management based on the standard of energy conservation resulting in efficient energy management. Improvement of energy conservation can be measured by 2 parts consisting of electricity and heat. However, Siam University does not use heat energy. In the last 2016 updated, the improvement results could reduce electricity cost to 6.5%, which valued as 1,657,932 baht per year leading to the next year. Since Siam University announced the strategic plan 2017-2018 that every organization realized the goal of the university, which is a sustainable development of all participation within the university. As a result of analysis, it showed that the activities of working group were done by the university’s staff without students’ participation. Therefore, researchers adopted the principle of educational innovation as a guideline for the creation of new courses, enabling students to participate in the energy conservation in accordance with the strategic plan of the university. The course is designed and presented as a range of subjects that integrate student’s participation, awareness of energy conservation and environment including the use of innovation technology. This leads to a model creation of energy and environment management with bringing innovative education to achieve sustainable development in all sectors of the university.

Abstract
In pressing process of a case study at the current situation produced the products, so they were lower than the target as 150 pcs/man/day. It was analyzed by using the flow process chart, and cycle time was 208 sec. They got products by average only 121 pcs/man/day, so they were lower than the target 29 pcs/man/day or 19.33 percent of daily target. So, this research has the objective to apply industrial engineering knowledge for improved process to get more products out by using 7 wastes. The working team studied and found the improvement 3 solutions as 1.) Improved layout 2.) Reduced lubricant for dipping process and 3.) Improved cutting process. So, they improved waste time 147.5 sec/cycle. The result after improved process, so they got products out by average 256 pcs/man/day. Products out increased by average 144 pcs/man/day or 118.42 percent. Moreover, the result of labor cost per piece was reduced from 2.479 baht to be 1.132 baht by average or 54.34 percent

Abstract
This thesis aims to enhance the production capacity of the spare part‘s boring machine manufacturing following the customer requirement base on the QC Story approach which was applied to improve the bottle neck of the production line. Base on the time study result found that the milling step of the CNC process which is the bottleneck of production line so it was improved by the special module of the CAM software which is applied for improvement the cycle time of CNC process and increasing the production capacity by optimization the feeding, cutting and part of the cutting tools. The improvement result found that the cycle time of CNC process can be improved from 978 sec./pc to 688 sec./pc from Takt Time target 728 sec./pc and enhance the production capacity of the Machine Spare Parts Production Line from 67 pcs./day to 90 pcs./day from 89 pcs./day target or from 1,675 pcs./month to 2,350 pcs./month from 2,208 pcs./month target.
