[fruitful_tab title=”1. DIVIDEND POLICY FOR SMEs ENTREPRENEURS IN ECONOMIC CRISIS SITUATION”]
Abstract
World Economic Crisis has been an effect to Economic Crisis in Thailand from past to present time. These economic crises have a huge impact to Thai entrepreneurs especially SMEs entrepreneurs that has more than 90% of Thai entrepreneurs. These crises make a loss to SMEs entrepreneurs and has an impact to decrease return to equity (ROE) that come from unable to pay the dividend. So in these crises, SMEs entrepreneurs must have a plan for dividend policy that will make a confidant for its enterprises and shareholders. Research studies on dividend payment in Thailand and other countries show that stock dividend is a good investment during economic crises especially in the long-term, the stock dividend can pay to return more than the market return. Dividend yield from stock has a greater yield than long-term bond, treasury bill, and money market instrument. So investment in stock dividend is a suitable and interesting for a medium-term and long-term investment during economic crises situation.
Dividend policies for SMEs entrepreneurs can be categorized in five approaches; 1) Regular Dividend Policy 2) Stable Dividend Policy 3) Irregular Dividend Policy 4) No Dividend Policy and 5) Medium-term and Long-term Contracted Dividend Policy, the new idea for SMEs entrepreneurs that cannot pay dividend during economic crisis but do not has a critical impact to stock price. This dividend policy has many advantages for SMEs entrepreneurs during the economic crisis such as, decrease cash dividend for SMEs entrepreneurs, keep financial liquidity for SMEs entrepreneurs, SMEs entrepreneurs can use the capital for other investments and Decrease short-term debt.

Abstract
Border Trade in the East – West Economic Corridor has the specific character that is different from the general Border Trade. This is because its linkage with the super highway passes through Myanmar – Thailand – Laos PDR, specially the highway crossing Pitsanulok Province, called ‘Indo – china intersection’. In facts, the behavioral pattern of payment in transaction and transferable goods and services are different from other border trade points.
From the results, the direction of border trade between Thailand –Myanmar at ampor Mae – sod, Tak province are the net export from Thailand to Myanmar more than the net import from Myanmar to Thailand. As for Mukdaharn province, the atmosphere of the net export to Laos PDR. and passing through Laos PDR. to Vietnam and China.
Regarding trade pattern, the transformation between Thailand – Laos PDR. is more complex than between Thailand – Myanmar both items and volume.
As for methods of payment in Goods and Services, Myanmar uses commercial bank system to pay more than Lao PDR. does. And mostly, the payment uses baht currency. The payment by letter of credit system is less use..
Besides, the research results show that the policies and measurement from the Bank of Thailand is best support in transaction both in Myanmar and in Lao PDR. by encouraging private sectors paying the transaction via commercial bank system. However, the development in highways construction between Mae – sod – Tak is less developed. In the east economic corridor, the highway passes through Mukdaharn province has developed at the best level.
The results bring the confirmation that Myanmar – Thailand – Lao PDR trade should be continually supported with the international trade and financial policies. In order to make the East – West Economic Corridor grows fortunately.

The purposes of this research were 1) to examine the congruence of structural equation model of readiness to work of retired elderly with empirical data, and 2) to study the direct effect, indirect effect and total effect antecedents on readiness to work of retired elderly. The data were collected from five hundred elders by questionnaire. The data was analyzed in term of structural equation modeling. The results showed as following: the structural equation modeling of readiness to work of retired elderly was congruent with the empirical data (X2 = 646.978, df = 266, p = 0.000, X7df = 2.432, GFI = 0.903, TU = 0.925, CFI = 0.933, RMSEA = 0.054, Critical N = 236); work potentiality, social support, self care behaviors and self esteem accounted for the variance of readiness to work of retired elderly by 71 percent. Self care behaviors, selfesteem and work potentiality had direct effect on readiness to work of retired elderly respectively. เท addition, social support, self care behaviors and work potentiality had indirect effect on readiness to work of retired elderly respectively.
