Abstract

In this study, based on theoretical analysis and taking into consideration the characteristics of target audience, teaching objectives, and the needs of learners, the curriculum for computer-aided design at Nanjing Commercial College was selected as the starting point for instructional design. This paper primarily investigated issues in traditional teaching, including low student interest, limited classroom engagement, and inadequate practical skills in computer-aided design courses. The objectives of this research were as follows:1) To verify that blended teaching methods have a positive impact on students’ learning interest. 2) To verify that blended teaching methods have a positive effect on students’ classroom participation. 3) To verify that blended teaching methods have a positive impact on students’ practical abilities. Ultimately, this is intended to improve students’ learning levels and the quality of educational services.

This paper primarily used the quantitative research method and employed a questionnaire survey to compare and analyze the effectiveness of traditional teaching and blended teaching at Nanjing Commercial College. The study revealed that, in comparison to the control group with similar theoretical knowledge exam scores, the experimental group showed a significant improvement in their learning interest, higher average scores, and a noticeable enhancement in their practical application skills.

Finally, this paper concludes with findings on blended teaching using online resources. The paper found that: 1) Blended teaching method can enhance students’ learning interest. 2) Blended teaching methods can increase student participation in the classroom. 3) Blended teaching methods can improve students’ practical abilities and the quality of educational services.
