บทคัดย่อ
โครงงานสหกิจศึกษาเรื่อง ที่รองแก้วแบบผ้าผสม มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแก้ปัญหาจากที่รองแก้วแบบเก่าเนื่องจากที่รองแก้วแบบเก่านั้นซึมซับน้ำได้ไม่ดีทำให้แก้วติดกับที่รองแก้วและน้ำที่ซึมซับไม่หมดนั้นหกโดนแขก และลดต้นทุนในการผลิต เพราะ ทางโรงแรมมีวัสดุที่สามารถนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่ได้เยอะมาก เช่น ผ้าลินิน ผ้าไหม ผ้าคอตตอน ซึ่งจะถูกกว่าการสั่งทำที่รองแก้วใหม่ และจะต้องตรงกับนโยบายของทางโรงแรมในเรื่องของการลดภาวะโลกร้อน
ผู้จัดทำได้ทำคำถามสัมภาษณ์โดยสัมภาษณ์จากพนักงานห้องอาหาร The Verandah ซึ่งอยู่ในโรงแรมแมนดาริน โอเรียนเต็ล กรุงเทพฯ พบว่า พนักงานตอบแบบสัมภาษณ์คิดว่า ที่รองแก้วแบบผ้าผสมที่ทำมาจากผ้าของทางโรงแรมนั้น สามารถช่วยแก้ปัญหาจากที่รองแก้วแบบเก่าได้ โดยที่แก้วจะไม่ติดกับที่รองแก้วและสามารถซึมซับน้ำได้ดี ช่วยลดต้นทุนในการผลิตที่รองแก้วใหม่ได้ และตรงตามนโยบายของทางโรงแรมเรื่องลดภาวะโลกร้อนอีกด้วย

Abstract
The cooperative education project on the Mixed Garment Coaster aims to solve the problems of the old coaster because the old coaster does not absorb water well, causing the glass to stick to the coaster and the water that is not completely absorbed spills on the guest, and reduce production costs because the hotel has a lot of reusable materials such as linen, silk, cotton, which are cheaper than ordering new coasters and must comply with the hotel’s policy on reducing global warming.
The researcher conducted an interview with staff at The Verandah restaurant in Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. The interviewees thought that the hotel mixed garment coasters could solve the problems of old coasters, as the cups would not stick to the coasters and could absorb water well. This helped reduce the cost of producing new coasters and was in line with the hotel’s policy on reducing global warming.
