Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the cashless system and the attitude of customers toward digital payment systems during the COVID-19 pandemic and its challenges. The findings showed that the cashless system in different approaches, in businesses and government organizations perceived the digital payment system at a high level. The cashless system consists of credit cards, automated teller machines, direct debit, mobile/Internet banking, e-Wallet, PromptPay, and QR code. Cashless payment can assist the government with tax collection accuracy and facilitates users to make financial transactions more transparent and efficient. Furthermore, the advantages of a cashless system reduce the use of cash and increase the use of E-payment should accelerate the country’s economic growth. Additionally, the cashless system makes the life of students, housewives, and the elderly very easy to carry out financial transactions and there is no need to meet financial institution staff. Finally, cashless payments can reduce the spread of COVID-19.
