This paper focused on the optimization application for the assembly line balancing in an automotive industry. The objective is to minimize cost in front bumper production with two models in production
line. Thus, a Mathematical model has been developed to solve the line balancing problem. The computational results compare cost between single-model line balancing and mixed-model line balancing which show that mathematical mixed model given answer better than mathematical single model.
